A shelf edge holding an assortment of right angle flag with bib ShelfTalkers with a variety of different messaging

New ShelfTalkers™!

Did you know that a shelf talker can increase the chances of a customer buying your product by 20%?

According to a Grocery Manufacturers Association study shelf talkers increase the likelihood of a shopper to engage with a product on your shelf by 29%, resulting in purchases of items not on their list by 20% or more.

When it comes to lifestyle friendly products, shoppers can be lost trying to find products that suit their needs. Our latest line of NutriTalkers™ are proven to bring attention to the products your customers didn’t know they wanted, creating impulse purchases along your shelf edge.

Our six new colorful lifestyle messages of ShelfTalkers™ include Vegan, Dairy Free, Nut Free, Keto Friendly, Paleo and Buy Local. Our messages are available in Bib and Bib with Right Angle; available in both ClearVision® and ClearGrip™ styles. These NutriTalkers™ blend in well with kostklip's existing collection of ShelfTalkers™.

If you're unfamiliar with some of these messages, or need some pointers, here’s a quick breakdown of where you would use these new NutriTalkers™. Kostklip® recommends that product labels always be consulted for definitive information regarding product contents. That’s why all of the NutriSeries™ products state to either “see product for details”, or in the case of Keto that an item is recommended as Keto Friendly.

Keto Friendly:

Keto is all about very low carb, high fat, and moderate protein. Some followers of this lifestyle are more strict about this ratio than others, hence Keto “Friendly”. Here are some examples of areas and foods that would apply to a Ketogenic style diet:

• Meats – fish, beef, lamb, poultry, eggs, etc.
• Leafy Greens – spinach, kale, etc.
• Above Ground Vegetables – broccoli, cauliflower, etc.
• High Fat Dairy – hard cheeses, high fat cream, butter, etc.
• Nuts and Seeds – macadamias, walnuts, sunflower seeds, etc.
• Avocado and Berries – raspberries, blackberries, and other low glycemic impact berries
• Sweeteners – stevia, erythritol, monk fruit, and other low-carb sweeteners
• Other Fats – coconut oil, high-fat salad dressing, saturated fats, etc.

Paleo:

Paleo refers to our ancestors of old – the Paleolithic era of the Stone Age (insert grunting caveman here)

So what does this diet usually entail? Well, anything our caveman ancestors would eat is on the menu. Some examples of tasty paleo items would be:

• Veggie Chips
• Sausages
• Fruit Salads
• Smoked Salmon
• Beef Jerky
• Paleo Granola
• Pork Rinds

Vegan:

Vegan diets have been a mainstay of healthy eating styles for a very long time, and according to a recent restaurant consultancy group Baum + Whiteman report, “plant-based” will be the food trend of 2018. In the same report Baum + Whiteman anticipate that plant-based foods will become the new organic.

As with most diets and eating lifestyles different shoppers follow different guidelines of what they like to eat. Help your shoppers find foods they may never have realized were friendly to their lifestyle, like:

• Oreo Cookies
• Jell-O instant pudding
• RITZ Crackers
• Pop-Tarts

Dairy Free:

Dairy is in so many products, and so for the shopper that chooses to, or needs to avoid dairy in their diet it can be a huge chore to find the right foods while shopping. Help your shoppers find what they need with this attractive ShelfTalker™. Examples include:

• Cheese alternatives like Daiya brand dairy-free cheeses
• Almond or Soy milks
• Coconut based ice creams like Luna & Larry’s Coconut Bliss
• Dairy-free yogurt alternatives
• Cream cheeses made with coconut

Nut Free:

Any shopper with young children in day care or school know all too well the challenges of finding kid-friendly products that are nut free while shopping. On top of this are all the shoppers that have nut allergies themselves. Some great places for this ShelfTalker™ are:

• Peanut butter alternatives like Seed Butter or Sunflower Butter
• Pretzels – pretzels are often used in recipes as an alternative to nuts!
• Edamame beans
• Chia based products
