Position: Customer Service Representative
Reporting to: Vice President, Sales & Marketing
Duration: Full-Time, Permanent

Role Overview

Drawing on your outstanding customer services skills, you will qualify customer needs and provide outstanding customer service. An understanding of the retail environment and the marketing of products to consumers will be a huge advantage.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities shall include but not be limited to:

  • Answer and direct telephone calls, and greet walk-ins in a friendly and professional manner
  • Address inbound customer sales inquiries (call, sales inbox, chat)
  • Order entry/processing, quote preparation, customer return, production lead time
  • Address customer complaints by communicating with the corresponding department. If required, seek guidance from direct report
  • Ensure adherence to company procedures and policies
  • Support Inside Sales Representatives, Business Development Managers, and Sr. Business Development Managers
  • Coordinate with other departments (Operations, Manufacturing, Shipping, Engineering) to facilitate task at hand
  • Handle all order-related problems and issues, seeking direction from Manager as needed
  • Correspond with customers and operations on issue such as: stock status, ship dates, method of payment, and proof of delivery
  • Troubleshoot client’s inquiries, and communicate innovative solutions
  • Build account relationships offering a friendly personality, strong product knowledge and ability to understand retail application
  • Follow sales inquiries to completion through CRM software, maintain timely and relevant information and track sales

Qualifications

  • Computer literate (MS Office and CRM tools)
  • Poses effective written and verbal English communication skills 
  • Self-motivated and positive 'go getter'
  • Accurately comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Diploma in business and marketing preferred
  • Strong business acumen and communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication skills and well-developed interpersonal skills

Starting Salary: $42k-45K + Commission
