Tri-cities, BC, June 8th 2020. Kostklip, a manufacturer of in-store communication and merchandising solutions, has partnered with Mayor Stewart (Coquitlam) and Mayor West (Port Coquitlam) to donate locally made plastic face shields to care homes and extended living facilities.
“We’ve always felt a strong connection to our local community, servicing local grocery stores and retailers for over 50 years, so when we realized we could help out we dropped everything to make it happen.” says Dave Weller, CEO of kostklip. “Over the past few months we have been working with BC Ambulance, and now we’re excited to give back to our community and help protect the health of caregivers and their residents, too”. Donations were made to Port Moody based Eagle Ridge Hospital and Eagle Ridge Manor, Coquitlam based Belvedere Care Centre, Dufferin Care Centre, Foyer Maillard and Lakeshore Care Centre, and Port Coquitlam based Astoria Retirement Residence, Hawthorne Seniors Care Community, Mayfair Terrace, Nicola Lodge and Shaughnessy Care Centre. A total of 1,350 plastic FaceGuards were donated.
